Professional Level Training for Musical Theatre.
Classes meet twice a week for 2 hours.
One class focused on style and technique and one class focused on application. Covering all styles required for a successful career in today's theatre world: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Hip-Hop, and Tricks.
Advanced scene study and monologue work. Exploration of multiple schools of acting including Stanislavski, Viewpoints, and Meisner. We will also look at specific styles and techniques to tackle a variety of genres and eras of theatre, as well as skills for audition success.
Build ensemble music skills and advance sight reading, music theory, and harmonizing abilities. Work on a catalog of style and technique to effortlessly switch between all genres required in our industry today: pop, jazz, classic musical theatre, bluegrass, and rock belt.
Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM (with an optional 30 minute chaperoned dinner and homework break to follow.)
